Tick, checked.

After preparing for weeks, I finally had my interview on the 25th April. The staff promised me that my name will be on the list if any interview is scheduled. Then, bullseye, one of my calls hit during the during the scheduling day. There, my name is the first one on the list and I was the first one to be interviewed. We were told to be there at 12.30pm. And the interview stated about 1 pm. There were four interviewers (inclusive of a psychologist who is typing and occasionally ask questions). So, 'knock, knock', I opened the door, smiled and closed the door. I make a greeting and introduced my name before sitting down. There's a chair against the wall. I was told to push it in if it was too far. I pushed in about half a meter. I do not know if it's part of the test, but I clarified that I do not want to push it deeper, so as I can see everybody from that distance. It's a good start and questions started.

I think it went well and I'm waiting for the results. In the meantime, I'm filling up the personal particulars form and surety form. I've got my two referees today.

The whole process was good. And I had answered some anticipated questions. The subsequent questions were build upon from my answers. There were a healthy mix of professional questions and personal questions. The interviewers were really friendly and had a sense of humor. It made me feel at ease and this makes me more comfortable at tackling the questions.

I feel I did well. I've got this far.

Two days before the interview, I watched this video of Nicole Malachowski, an US Thunderbird pilot. It inspired me.
