And, I just came back from the reunion dinner. This is a Chinese tradition which is still followed till today in Singapore. So different generations will gather at a relative place, more commonly that of grandparents, to have their annual reunion dinner (团圆饭). Our family went over to have it at my paternal Grandmother's house. This year, we had a steamboat dinner.
So on the first three days of the new year, we'll normally do house visiting, catch up with stuffs and collect Ang Pow. Hurhur.
The picture on the right show Ang Pows (红包). It's given by couples who are married, to the younger ones. Inside the red packet, are some money. It's for good luck.
Now, it's two hours away from the the year of the Dragon.
I'm a dragon baby from a dragon mum.
It's my year.
Happy Chinese New Year!
