Omega fatty 3 acids from Bergen Fish Market

There are two types of Salmon in Norway. The wild salmon and the farmed salmon.
This particular fillet is from the Norwegian waters, but not classified.

Grilled Salmon with lemon and pepper sauce with scampi and potato salad costs 110NOK. The striations of the flesh and the layers of juicy fats can be seen very clearly.

Crispy Salmon skin with lemon juice. Aahh.

Amigos

One greatest gift I've got, is the friends I've made during the summer program.

I remember.
Going for goal, only to see it being saved by Marie Helene bare hands.
The exciting picture we took at the park bench with Ana, Marie Helene, Leila and Mandela. (Leila, Mandela and Stella. We rhyme, don't we?)
Running round Nydalen with Marie Helene and Leila.
Working in the A team with Arne, Amy, Mirna and Oleksii.
Watching Cheburashka with Yaroslav and Ana.
Exchanging blows with Marie Helene and Aaron.
Talking about interesting topics with Peili and Shuang Yang.
Speaking Chinese and make Ann decipher.
Laughing at Mehdi, the caramel man.
Going to the islands and Kontiki museum with Mashenka.
Watching Copa America with Juan and Martin.
Eating Macdonalds with Novrous.
Watching Justin draw in class.
Talking to George, the neighbour.
Playing Ping Pong with Matt and see him eat spicy food with the anonymous sauce.
Hiking Nordmarka with my classmates.
Drinking and taking pictures with almost everybody at the international cooking dinner.

These are only SOME.
All in all, wonderful times.

Falu Red

First stop in Europe is Helsinki.

Towards the final approach, one can't miss the significant red which can be seen on a large percentage of cottages. The distinctive red paint, most commonly seen on the exterior of cottages and barns in Scandinavia, is called Falu red. A lady at Skansen museum in Stockholm, gave me a sheet of the painting advice and I bought half a litre of the paint back. Priced at about 39SGD.

Touch Down and Home Sweet Home

Touch down at Changi Airport on 21st August 2011, 1610 Singapore time.

The familiar airport, the express lane for citizens, seeing a family member, tasting roasted chicken rice on the journey back home and seeing two furry made me realized I'm back home.

Time differences:
US (13 hours behind)
London (7 hours behind)

Stamford Bridge, Home of the Blues

17th August
The day before the tour, I hopped on a bus and it took me towards Chelsea Football Stadium. So before the tour, I already orientated myself in the area.

And on the 17th, the trip was planned perfectly according to time. But due to the closing of the district line to Fulham Broadway, I had to hop on a london cab to Stamford bridge. And all in all it's 10 pounds. The exact amount the cab driver told me it would be. Accurate isn't he?

First step into Stamford bridge.
The pitch was surprisingly close to the spectator stands. The entire stadium was grand and well organized. We managed to visit the press conference room, locker rooms, physiotherapy area, and the tunnel which lead the players into the pitch, and the museum.

The whole experience was something special for a blue fan.
Am looking forward to see the Juan Mata, a Spaniard signed from Valencia, play.

Fläsknoisette and Petitifour

Main dish: Fläsknoisette
Dessert: Petitifour (Chocolate truffle)

The chocolate truffle came surprisingly petite. It's sprinkled with cinnamon cocoa powder. The vanilla fan (me) says that the sweetness is just right. Perfect way to end a lunch.

Plankstek

Plank=Wooden plank.
Stek=Steak

It's found in Drottninghof Grill and Bar.
Drottninggatan 67.

The's food is unique, ambience good and it's at a very reasonable price. 5 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed it so much that I went back to the same restaurant to have...
