Saturday
Caught a 3.45pm movie 'the dark knight rises' with two of my friends at the Cineleisure. Pretty intrigued by the Catwoman. She's so unpredictable. Thought the sound effects were pretty well done. Brought out the scale and grandness of the movie. This has an unexpected twist and is not as dark as the previous one. Afterwards, it was seafood dinner at No signboard at Vivocity.
Sunday
Changi Airport.
Lunch at Astons,
Dinner at Itacho.
Monday,
Dinner and Dessert at Kovan with Kaki.
Good food, good company for the extended weekends.
Great. I want to gain a little weight. 1.5kg.
This blog will primarily be used to log my travel experiences. My first destination will be Helsinki, next Oslo, Svalbard, Stockholm, Bergen and London. Now, I'm back in Singapore.

A song from 新兵日记。

Breathe, hold your breath and pull.
Second consecutive day.
20 is the norm.
Today, 24. A bit more...
A shower, a large good warm bath towel, a slow stroll towards the mall for a hot beverage. Then back home.
Ahh, I think this pace is good. Too good.

Many shades of grey, 7 colours of the rainbow.
In Asian societies, at least in Singapore, most will stay with their parents till they start a family of their own. Actually I wonder if the tradition is really a good thing or not.
There are shades of grey. I'm slowly leaning to this perspective.
I like to have a clear direction in life.
I like to stick to plans and work with what I have.
I like financial stability and I like to be contented with what I have.
I like to learn.
I like to enjoy the finer things in life.
I'm allergic to ambiguity and fickle-mindedness, but I like a little spontaneity.

The four pups.
Girl is the pretty lass. All white, smaller in built and as white as snow. She is now called Nuby. She is no. 3 of the four pups.
Shiki is the naughty and bright one who loves affection. He is white with a little tint of of brown (just like Shiro) at the tip of his ears. He's the second smallest in size after Nuby. He is the most active. Now, he's changing his coat and much more muscular now. Still the same, he likes to fight with Nuby.
We have two more pups running around at home. And today, I think another one found a new home. He's your puppy in the basket type of puppy. 老大 should be the eldest of the four of them, and he's the the most loving. He has a floppy right ear. We do not know why, but we really like him like that.
Feeling a little emotional now. We see them grow from 'tiny little wriggly' puppies to 'growing furry active' puppies, so I really really can't bear to let them go. But since we have a constraint of space, we have to. Nuby and Shiki found wonderful homes and I know the other one will too. And now that I'm free, I can follow my mum to their new homes to see their surroundings. Nuby and Shiki are doing great. Maybe my concerns are unfounded.
Maybe I just have the elder sister instinct. I want to protect all my furry 'siblings'.
Feeling better now. Ro and Mer were not adopted, so I can't really be an ambassador for adoption of dogs. But I think those who adopt would know that they've made a difference. It takes a big heart to do that too. Although not all is saved, but just like the starfish story, at least you're making a difference to the present one.
Feeling better now... Two big ones and two small ones are still within my sight. Just had a bath. Dinner soon.

Can I keep them all with me?
So four of them reunite again at Serangoon yesterday. 2 of them are staying at Serangoon gardens now. Plenty of space for them to roam about.
Guess another two were tired after playing. They were really quiet on both legs of the journey.
It will be even better if I were not present when they are off to a new home because I can't bear to watch them leave... One can't really put a value on how much these furry things are worth. It's impossible to do so. I chose not to subscribe to the news for awhile to deceive myself for awhile more. But when I finally surrender to reality, I'll take a look at their pictures taken by the new owners. Am comforted by the fact that they are well-taken care of by their new owners.
Sometimes I thought. If I have a super big house and a big garden and a pond and plenty of places for them to roam, can I keep them all? I know a cozy 5 room flat is not enough to house the six of them.
I wish I could keep the last two ='(

On the road to recovery.
It all started with a dry throat. Then runny nose and muscle fatigue. Felt really sick on Wednesday night. And luckily, it's the middle of the month. I still have time to recover. Feeling much better after taking the medicine prescribed by the doc. The medicine is making me so drowsy.

Equipping.
I guess I'll be like 石俊 soon, writing my own set of 日记。Yesterday we were ferried to somewhere near Qian Hu fish farm, something like a factory for equipping. There are really loads of stuff in there. The whole process was abit of hurry. Had a short briefing then HSH.
Stick around.

One happy mom. 感动。Wonder why the 4 kittens are different.
I hope her coat grows back to it's prime soon after her blowing of coat. It should be soon.
